Ginger Renkewicz earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Business Administration from Madonna University. She has always found satisfaction in helping others to learn and be their best selves. She finds her greatest joy when others succeed. Nursing was a very natural career choice for her. Many years ago, when she applied to college programs, a female could be a secretary, a teacher, or a nurse. My, how things have changed for the better!! Ginger loved and excelled in the sciences and communication. Being a nurse supported her calling. Her career choice has continued to excite and fulfill her and has never been a disappointment. Finally, she and the entire Renkiewicz family believe that volunteering and giving back to the community is a priority and all four family members have consistently supported the Brain Injury Association and Birdies for Charity, along with volunteering for many other charities over the years.
Dr. Renkewicz’s Prescription for Success:
Number 1: Things will always look different in the morning. When working through challenges and problems that seem insurmountable just give it a rest and look again with fresh eyes.
Number 2: Take care of yourself physically and mentally, so you can take care of your team and your family. It’s very important that you take time to refill your own bucket with gratitude and joy, so that you can contribute to filling the buckets of others.
Number 3: If offered additional responsibility, take it. Obviously, somebody believes in you and thinks you can handle it. This is your chance to shine to grow, to develop your skills, organizationally and your leadership skills.
Number 4: Always practice with the highest of integrity. Be authentic and honest. Speak the truth even though it hurts. Be gracious. Always do the right thing, even when it’s difficult. and require yourself reflection on keep a positive attitude and be consistent in your response to challenges be predictable.
